Make a difference. Every day.
Do you want to work with qualified psychological work in an organization where patient influence, collaboration, and development are at the center? We are looking for someone who wants to help shape a modern addiction care where your ideas and expertise will have a significant impact from the start.
The care for medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence (LARO) in Skåne is undergoing significant changes with the phasing out of the LARO care choice. We plan to open more regional LARO clinics in Helsingborg and are seeking a psychologist who wants to help develop LARO care. You will work both at our existing clinics, where you can contribute to improving and strengthening the already established care, as well as at the new clinics that we will establish, where you will have the chance to be involved from the start and shape the future of LARO care. Welcome to be a part of our exciting development!
The LARO clinics have a mission that includes comprehensive medical responsibility for patients with long-term opioid dependence. We offer medical treatment, talk therapy, care and treatment planning, psychological testing and assessments, as well as basic somatic care related to substance abuse, harmful use, and dependency issues. The goal of LARO is to prevent relapse, improve social functioning, and reduce medical complications, transmission, and mortality. Treatment is tailored individually based on the patient's needs and with respect for their autonomy and integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We welcome a driven, initiative-taking psychologist who wants to contribute to the development of both our organization and our experienced, competent team. We offer you an opportunity for meaningful psychological work in a well-functioning work environment.
The position is cross-unit and involves work at several LARO clinics, where you contribute to developing and ensuring the quality of psychological interventions across the entire organization. You will collaborate closely with a psychologist colleague who has a similar role, where you together with process leaders and unit managers work to ensure high-quality care.
Your clinical work as a psychologist primarily consists of assessment, investigation, and treatment. If necessary and in case of suspected comorbidity, psychological assessment is often required as a complement to the diagnosis made. The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with other staff at the clinic. The treatment provided at the clinic includes care with supportive conversations, psychological and pharmacological therapy, as well as coordination with various authorities and care partners regarding care planning and coordinated individual plans (SIP). You are part of network work and consultations directed towards other stakeholders and care partners. We also manage simpler somatic conditions related to the patient's substance abuse issues.
Within the team, there is active development work based on engagement from both management and employees. We strive to stay updated to offer effective treatments with good evidence to our patients. There are good opportunities for professional development, and you will receive regular supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying are a licensed psychologist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. It is also required that you have basic psychotherapy training with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We would like you to have work experience in psychiatric outpatient care. Experience working with the target group, substance abuse and addiction treatment, as well as competence and experience in psychotic disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are also meritorious.
We are looking for someone who has good collaboration skills with both patients and staff and contributes to a good team spirit. As we actively work with a holistic view of our patients, we would like you to have the competence and ability to integrate multiple perspectives in care planning, assessment, and treatment for each individual patient. Qualities that we value highly are flexibility, creativity, and a sense of responsibility, as well as the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions. An interest in quality work and evaluation is also desirable. We place great importance on personal suitability.
We apply ongoing selection in this recruitment. Warm welcome with your application today!
